A drive-by shooting in Chicago resulted in the deaths of four individuals and left 14 more injured, according to police reports released on Thursday.
The violent episode took place around 11 p.m. on Wednesday night in the River North area, where gunfire was unleashed from a dark-colored vehicle targeting a crowd gathered outside Artis Restaurant and Lounge, authorities indicated. The assailants fled the scene quickly.
Among the deceased are two men, aged 24 and 25, along with two women, as per police accounts.
At least 14 victims, ranging in age from 21 to 32, sustained gunshot wounds; however, their medical conditions have not been disclosed.
Local media reported that the shooting coincided with a listening event for rapper Mello Buckzz at the lounge.
As of now, law enforcement has not made any arrests related to this incident.
