As recovery efforts unfold following a catastrophic flood in Texas, numerous organizations and prominent individuals have pledged financial support to local charities.
On Saturday, Colombian singer Shakira announced her intention to donate a portion of the proceeds from her concert on July 5 in San Antonio to assist families impacted by the flooding in Texas Hill Country. She expressed her concern for those affected via a post on X, stating, “Dear San Antonio, our hearts and thoughts are with those impacted by the flood. We are committing part of tonight’s show proceeds to Catholic Charities of San Antonio, which is actively providing disaster relief.”
Additionally, the United Services Automobile Association (USAA) has allocated $500,000 in grants for search and recovery initiatives, while also mobilizing employees to volunteer within their local communities.

Texas Search and Rescue, a nonprofit first responder group, is currently conducting search and rescue operations in Kerr County, which suffered extensive flood damage.
Meanwhile, the Salvation Army in Kerrville has begun accepting limited donations and is serving as the Official Partner for Volunteer Coordination and In-Kind Donations.
