Kamala Harris to Release Book Reflecting on Short-Lived Presidential Campaign

Former Vice President Kamala Harris has announced that she will publish a new book that examines the "behind-the-scenes" of her brief presidential campaign, which she has labeled the “shortest in modern history.” This announcement follows her decision to forgo a run for governor of California.

In a video release, Harris stated, “I see value in sharing my experiences, insights, and the knowledge I’ve gained about what it will take for us to progress.” The former Vice President, who is currently without a political position, emphasized her enduring sense of optimism about the future.

The title of the forthcoming book, “107 Days,” has been a subject of speculation for months. Reports indicated that the planned fall publication may have influenced her choice not to enter the gubernatorial race.

Set to be available on September 23, the book will offer insights into her campaign’s brief duration and what she took away from the experience.

The financial details of her agreement with publisher Simon & Schuster remain undisclosed, leaving questions regarding the advance she received for the project.
