Infamous Butt-Sniffing Criminal Apprehended Again
A notorious individual known for inappropriate behavior has been taken into custody yet again after allegedly being spotted engaging in his unsettling activities—this follows his previous arrest just a month earlier, where he was released on a $100,000 bail.
Calese Crowder, aged 38, is facing felony charges and is currently held without bail after a disturbing incident at a Walgreens in Burbank on Wednesday prompted staff to alert law enforcement, as reported by ABC7.
The latest charges reveal Crowder was on parole at the time of his arrest and has a well-documented history of lewd conduct dating back to 2021.
In mid-July, he was apprehended for trespassing at a Nordstrom Rack in Burbank, where he was loitering in the women’s section.
Despite being placed on a $100,000 bail following that arrest, circumstances surrounding his prior release remain unclear.
During that previous incident, police discovered him at a nearby Walmart where he allegedly followed a female patron throughout the store.
"While in the women’s area, he was observed shadowing a customer, squatting nearby, and engaging in inappropriate behavior by sniffing her buttocks," authorities stated in a report.
Due to the nature of his actions, police made contact with him and detained him for additional questioning.
Crowder’s troubling conduct was previously captured on video in August 2023 at a Barnes & Noble bookstore in Burbank.
A video posted by Michaela Witter documenting his alleged actions went viral on TikTok, amassing millions of views.
In the footage, Crowder is seen crouched near Witter’s legs.
When confronted by her, he claimed he was merely tying his shoes; however, Witter asserted it appeared as if he was attempting to smell her from behind.
Additionally, Witter accused him of conducting similar behavior towards another woman in the store.
